Dutch Courage started in the summer of 2021 by 5 Creative Business students at the Amsterdam University of Applied sciences (HvA). We noticed that international students had a hard time fitting into the Dutch culture and trouble making friends. A study showed that about 70% of the international students often felt lonely. We wanted to change that. But how? We didn't want to make another boring app with boring language exercises. What do students like?, we thought. To party of course! That's why we started making a party game that's fun for both international students as Dutch students. With Dutch Courage you will not only learn about The Netherlands but also make friends and connect with Dutch people. That is our goal.
